Sad news has reached us of the death of Jean Horrocks. She wrote a lovely memory of our society for us to share with you on this website.

JEAN HORROCKS On January 29th 2016. Peacefully at her home in Horwich. Jean aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife of Graham, loving mum of Mark and Jennifer, dear mother in law of Sharon, devoted grandma of George, William, Arthur, David, Adam and Niall, much loved sister in law of Margaret and Kathleen and a dear friend of many. Service Westhoughton United Reform Church Friday 5th February 3.00pm prior to committal Howe Bridge crematorium 4.00pm. By request please no dark clothing, Bright clothing only. Family flowers only please donations in lieu for The Christie or The British Heart Foundation may be sent C/O The Livesey Funeral Service, Church Street, Horwich, tel 696311.'
